FRUIT AND BERRY SMOOTHIE FOR AN ACTIVE DAY
To get the necessary energy for the morning, it is sometimes sufficient to have a light, but vitamin-rich and nourishing smoothie with an addition of various fruits and berries, as well as hulled hemp seeds.
Ingredients:
Mango, melon, orange
Raspberries, strawberries
Hulled hemp seeds
Plain yoghurt
Sweetener (sugar, honey, or other sweetener as desired)
Preparation:
Dice a part of the melon and half of the mango, put it in a blender, add the juice of an orange, add yoghurt, sweeten to taste, and blend thoroughly. Pour into a tall glass until it is half-full. Blend raspberries, strawberries, yoghurt, and sweetener and slowly pour into the glass creating a top layer. Sprinkle with hulled hemp seeds. Serve chilled.
Be inspired by this recipe. It can be modified according to one’s preferences, for example, by adding other fruits or berries. You can substitute yoghurt with almond or oat milk or regular milk by adding a banana (for a thicker consistency).
You can also add a little bit of hemp oil or hemp protein making the smoothie more satiating.
